Discover Your Childs Hidden Learning Gaps
Many ”Passing” Students Are 2-3 Grades Behind Without Anyone Noticing.
Is your Child one of Them?
Every learning journey begins somewhere.
Our complimentary assessment helps identify your child’s current working level, providing valuable insights that allow learning to begin at a level where they can experience success, build confidence, and continue growing.
There is no cost, no pressure, and no obligation to enrol.
Why Start with an Assessment?
Understanding where your child is currently working is the first step towards creating a personalised learning experience.
Rather than making assumptions based on age or grade, the assessment uses adaptive learning technology to identify the level at which your child is most likely to learn successfully.
This creates a clear starting point for future learning while helping families better understand their child’s individual strengths and areas that may benefit from additional support.
What Happens During the Assessment?
Your child will complete a series of age-appropriate learning activities using our internationally recognised adaptive learning technology.
As your child works, the technology automatically adjusts according to their responses, allowing it to identify their current working level across different learning areas.
The assessment is completed in a calm, encouraging environment where children are simply encouraged to do their best.
There are no time limits, no pressure, and no pass or fail.
Why It Matters
When children begin learning at the level that matches their current understanding, they are more likely to experience success, remain motivated, and build confidence.
The assessment allows us to understand where your child is today so that any future support is based on their individual needs rather than assumptions.
Every child is different, and every learning journey deserves the right starting point.
Understanding Your Child's Results
Once the assessment has been completed, we’ll discuss your child’s results, explain what they mean, and answer any questions you may have.
The assessment identifies your child’s current working level in each assessed subject, providing a clear understanding of where they are most likely to learn successfully. This allows learning to begin at the right level, helping children build confidence while strengthening the foundational skills needed for long-term progress.

Understanding the Grade Levels
The assessment is aligned to international academic standards, which are more advanced than the South African CAPS curriculum.
As a result, it is completely normal for South African learners to assess at a lower working level than the grade they are currently enrolled in at school.
For example, a learner currently in Grade 8 may assess at a Grade 5 or Grade 6 working level within the assessment. This does not mean the learner has failed or is incapable. Instead, it simply identifies the level at which they can learn most effectively while strengthening any missing foundational skills.
The purpose of the assessment is not to compare children to their school grade, but to identify the most appropriate starting point for personalised learning.
More Questions Answered
What does the free assessment assess?
Our free assessment tests your child’s actual understanding from Grade 1-9 foundations in Maths and Language Arts. Unlike school exams that only test current grade memorisation, The system finds the specific gaps holding your child back. Takes about 90 minutes, uses adaptive technology, and measures against international standards (not SA’s 30-40% pass rates)
Will my child feel stressed during the assessment?
No! This isn’t a test they can fail – it’s diagnostic, like a learning GPS. No grades, no judgment, just information. Many children enjoy the interactive format. We create a relaxed, supportive environment completely different from exam conditions.
Is there any obligation or hidden cost?
Absolutely ZERO obligation. The assessment is genuinely free – no registration fees, no hidden costs, no pressure to enrol. You’ll get valuable information about your child’s education that you can use however you choose, even if you never work with us.
What if my child is already getting good grades?
Even “A+ students” often have hidden gaps. We regularly find straight-A students who are 2-3 grades behind internationally. Good grades in SA often mask foundational weaknesses because students memorise without understanding. The assessment reveals if your child is truly prepared for university and global competition.
When and where can we do the assessment?
Assessments are conducted by appointment. Contact us to arrange a convenient date and time, and we’ll guide you through the process. online
How is this different from school tests?
School tests check if your child memorised this term’s work. Our free assessment checks if they truly understand the foundations. The system tests all the way back to Grade 1 concepts because that’s where 95% of gaps originate. A child can pass Grade 8 Maths while still missing Grade 3 multiplication concepts – school tests won’t catch that, but the system will.
